On April 21st, 2017 ICARO Partners have joined the temporary association “ATS- Associazione Temporanea di Scopo”, whose purpose is the cooperation until 2020 on strategic topics regarding the industrialization of cast aluminium products.
Endurance FOA, as project leader, together with Endurance Fondalmec, Teksid Aluminum and with DACA-I Powertrain Engineering will cooperate in order to focus on topics such as:
The engineering and industrialization of innovative “near net shape” aluminium automotive components, featuring high performances and geometrical thin wall complexity, together with the adoption of aluminium metallic foams and/or lost core, the production processes development towards efficient equipment, casting dies (inclusive of additive manufacturing techniques) and machining tools.
ICARO Project also involves internships programs with the participation of the Mechatronics Course in “Camerana ITS Turin high school”, whose students were hosted in Endurance FOA and Endurance Fondalmec plants on the 17th of July.
