Endurance Water Day

Since the end of 2017 at Endurance Foa plant in Chivasso the wastewater resulting by the die-casting process is conveyed to a triple-stage vacuum evaporator, that allows to obtain a reusable distillate in the production cycle and reduce the percentage of concentrated product to be delivered to external disposal companies.

The system has been designed and realized with the aim of the maximum energy saving through the basic principle of vacuum and the recovery of energy in the system itself with high efficiency heat exchangers.

Thanks to the commissioning of the new system Endurance Foa has been able to achieve fundamental objectives in environmental management, such as:

• the reuse of water in the industrial process;
• the reduction of the volume of waste produced by the plant.
