During Christmas dinner 2017, Endurance Overseas raised some funds and decided to donate them to a local non-profit organisation: UGI – Unione Genitori Italiani contro il tumore dei bambini;
since more then 30 years supports parents of children affected by cancer, providing:
- First-hospital care service when the family deals with the diagnosis of the disease.
- Assistance in the care wards and at Casa UGI: play and entertainment for children and teenagers hospitalised and listening and support for families.
- Economic assistance
- Personalised assistance to families: service provided by specially trained volunteers and is aimed at families who have shown greater organisational or family difficulties.
