Endurance Overseas is pleased to announce its participation in the Expert Forum on Sustainable Materials for Future Mobility to be held from 7 to 9 October 2019 in Turin, Italy. The objective of the event is to trigger a chain interaction of cross-value and strategic alliances between European stakeholders that drive innovation in these sectors. Sustainable raw materials and advanced materials are key factors for the successful transition to mobility. The drastic shift to mass electric mobility is driven by the need to reduce CO2 emissions and improve air quality in cities. This development generates a growing demand for new types of functional and structural materials. These materials contribute significantly to the overall cost of mobility, its environmental and social footprint and the dependencies of the global supply chain that their OEMs will face. The ambition of zero-emission mobility will have to take into account the ecological footprint of its enabling materials.
Endurance will be represented by Claudio Mus – Technical & R&D Director of Endurance Overseas who will hold the speech “Competition among materials: light alloys on the podium” during the afternoon of Wednesday October 9th.
